In 1954 he started his own business, which provided auto electric service and small engine repairs. Soon the business was solely devoted to outdoor power equipment sales and service, pioneering brand after brand in south Texas and building a legendary reputation for expert technical service.
Although Ben is still active every day in the business, his son Oscar is now the General Manager and continues to move the business forward with the same principles that his father taught him.
